MS IN OPHTHALMOLOGY:
Dr Pritam completed his MS Ophthalmology from BJ MEDICAL COLLEGE (CIVIL HOSPITAL), Ahmedabad.
FELLOWSHIP:
Dr Pritam went further to pursue a long term (2 yrs) fellowship in Vitreoretina at the internationally renowned ARAVIND EYE HOSPITAL, Madurai. Aravind is the world leader in eye care delivery in terms of volume, cost to patients, quality and efficiency.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Dr Pritam yearned to achieve total mastery in handling any kind of retinal/macular disorders. Hence he further worked for 2 years as a Senior Vitreoretina Consultant at Sri Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya, Chitrakoot.
SURGERIES:
He has done more than 1000 major vitreretinal surgeries. He has extensive experience in scleral buckling, vitrectomy for retinal detachment (RD), complex RD, paediatric RD, macular hole surgeries, Diabetic vitrectomies- sutured and sutureless. He has even mastered in stitchless phacoemulsification cataract surgeries, SMILE, LASIK& PRK techniques of Laser Refractive surgeries.
Intelligence and capability are not enough. In order to experience the joy of serving humanity and making specialist and comprehensive eye treatment with latest technology available under one roof, VATSAL EYE CARE & LASER CENTER was founded in 2014.
